When Guillermo founded Pampa Empanadas in Springfield, Missouri, in 2021, his goal was simple: to create a space where people—especially those living far from home—could experience a sense of warmth and familiarity through food. At the same time, he wanted to share Argentine culture with the community, inviting customers to try something new and savor the flavors of the Pampa… a vast plain often described as a “sea of grass,” the foundational silence where the Argentine soul beats.
